Special Events at the Fort Lauderdale Boat Show

The Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show begins tomorrow, November 3rd and is open until Monday, November 7th. It is the largest International Boat Show in the world and will play host to a variety of different events and classes. The classes are filling up quickly so be sure to sign up as soon as possible. The events and classes are listed below.
Hands on boating skill classes available only at the boat show! When it comes to improving your boating skills and learning new ones, nothing beats hands on experience with the experts. All taught by USCG Licensed Captains, you will learn basic skills and advanced skills. Whether you are a seasoned boater or a beginner, there is a class for you. Take your boating skills up a notch and register for a class! Space is limited so you want to sign up now. The classes will take place at the end of "B" Dock at Bahia Mar.
1 Hour On-Water Classes

Take your time leaving the show because PaintScaping has a fabulous video presentation at the Bahia Mar. PaintScaping will transform 12 stories of the Bahia Mar into an immersive, 3D aquatic experience. You must be inside the boat show to see the video as late comers will not be permitted to enter. The 3D presentation will be on the west wall of the Bahia Mar on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday in three different time slots of 7:30, 8:00, and 8:30.
Join the International SeaKeepers Society for a moving feats of small plates and cocktails in recognizing the 2016 DISCOVERY Yacht Fleet. This event is on Thursday, November 3rd from 7:00-11:00pm. To view more on this event please see this link. SeaKeepers
Be sure to stop by the "Blue Wild Watersports and Marine Art Expo". You will have the opportunity to listen to experts speak about different water sports such as freediving, spearfishing, paddleboarding, under water photography, and much more. They have an extensive Marine Art display room featuring a wide range of art from high-end works to underwater photography and contemporary pieces. There is something for everyone at this expo. It will take place at Lobby B/C at the Broward County Convention Center. The schedule is below.

The IGFA School of Sportfishing is hosting a ton of different fishing classes such as inshore fishing and offshore fishing to specific game fishing and reef and bottom fishing.
