Originally built as a commercial fishing vessel in 1971 by the Sermons Boat Yard of Tarpon Springs, Florida, M/V Restless T was rebuilt as a luxury expedition yacht in 1985 including installation of a new Cummins 270hp engine. The Sermons Boat Yard built more than 70 commercial vessels, many still in use today. The current owners purchased this vessel in 2015 and have cruised her along the Eastern Seaboard, Gulf, and lower Great Loop and have kept her in excellent condition, including upgrades and improvements in 2023 at her last haulout at the Metal Shark Boat Yard in Bayou La Batre, LA.. Overview

Boarding is from port and starboard gates amidships or from transom gate above swim platform to aft deck or from port and starboard doors for wheelhouse entry. Entry from the aft deck leads through double French doors to a small foyer with the well organized and functional galley on the starboard side. Plenty of cabinets and stowage to port. Forward is the bright and roomy salon. Stairs from the galley lead to the lower deck. The  guest stateroom with ensuite head is forward, bunk cabin with head is on the starboard side, laundry center and guest head portside, and master stateroom with ensuite head is aft. Ascending stairs from the galley lead to the wheelhouse. Expansive exterior decks on upper level and large covered area aft on main deck. Hull

M/V Restless T is a full displacement all welded A36 steel expedition yacht with hard chines, round stern, bilge keels, and full skeg. The stem/keel measures 1/2", the skeg shoe at 3/4" and all other plates are 1/4". The deck beams and framing are 4" x 3" x 1/4" on 18" centers. There are 5 watertight bulkheads with (2) watertight doors and 2 weathertight doors. Windows are 1/2" plate glass. Bronze portlights are 12" with 4 dogs.

Tanks consist of fuel, water, black water, gray water, hydraulic oil, and lube oil.

Full walk around side decks. The foredeck is accessed from the side decks or from a centerline ladder forward of the wheelhouse. Dock boxes for stowage at each deck.
